POLITIKA: Policy Ideas for Positive Change

The Politics Outlook is excited to share an excellent opportunity for all of our students.

Politika (the youth wing of Radix Big Tent) has launched a policy paper competition. The task is to write a 800-1000 words policy paper/proposal presenting a creative, developed idea to help solve a national issue. Submissions will be accepted from applicants aged 16-18 and will be judged by think tank Radix Big Tent's board of leading political and economic thinkers. The winner will have their paper published on the Radix website, and have the opportunity to discuss their paper with a Radix fellow who specialises in their chosen area.

This is not just another essay competition, it is stylistically akin to a policy paper, and encourages students to be creative when devising policies to problems in one of the following areas:

Social inequality

Artificial Intelligence

Crime

Education

The Online World

Healthcare

Climate Crisis
